Well I weighed in at a whopping 183.4 lbs. I walked briskly for 50 minutes on the treadmill and started the day off with my usual green smoothie and fruit. So far so good. Decided to not take before pictures of body parts due to a small denial issue still taking place between my ears. Maybe 10 or 15 lbs from now. This afternoon had one rice krispie dessert and a few cinnamon sugared home made donut holes. Other than that it has been one swell day!

I am starting this post in hopes that it will be a marvelous transformation story. One that will inspire even the most discouraged and hopeless of them all that new life can and will be found with a lot of patience, persistance, and persevearance! My story begins tomorrow morning will I will face the most daunting challenge of all. That small 12"x12" platform which will effortlessly display that horrifying three digit number that will remain to be seen. It is the result of one too many diet sodas, one too many mindless desserts, and one last taste that never seems to be enough! That mind numbing, uncomfortable yet comfortable bloat is going to come to a screeching halt. The last of the diet soda is gone and the sweets have magically disappeared for the last time. The crisper is full of fresh fruits to be devoured and fresh vegetables to be washed and prepared. The freezer is full of chicken, talapia and ground turkey to be deliciously transformed into delectible and de-lightful meals for the next week! One week will be disected down to one day and then down to one hour and one minute where each and every second will lead to a much healthier and happier human being...

I am considering posting before and after pictures of body parts rather than a beginning blob. Hopefully the parts can synchronize into one hopefully pleasing-to-the-eye picture of an entire beautiful body. This is definately going to be a battle of the buldge! The print is Large because it is the beginning of the journey and hopefully as time goes on the print will decrease in size and take up less space!
